What a special rat year! On the second day of CNY, I started to have pain on my teeth and it was even more painful when I eat. At first, I thought I was too heaty so I drank 2 cans of herbal tea. Then on the third day of CNY, the pain worsen and I could feel a lump beside my teeth. Out of curiousity, I looked at the mirror. To my horror, I saw my gum was swollen. It was very uncomfortable and painfully when I eat. The whole day I was very uneasy with the swollen gum. That night, we still went visiting but I was really feeling uncomfortable and awkard.
Can you imagine if your hand or leg was swollen, it would bleed and sometimes have those yellowish liquid flowing out... so imagine this happened inside your mouth... eerrrggghhh... disgusting, right?
Then, on the fourth day, I could stand no more and went to see doc. He gave me antibiotic and sore throat medicine. I was scared that it was my teeth root having problem so I asked doc what's happening. He told me that it was food stucked inside the gum and got infection. Heng ah! I was so worried that I may go teethless. Now, the big stone dropped...
Today, the swell has subsided and there was not much pain. Hopefully, such thing don't happened again...
