Welcome 2008!!!

Oh dear... I'm so late to wish everyone Happy 2008... I was so busy lately that I don't have much time to sit down in front of the pc. I'm so busy that I did not have enough sleep lately. Mainly due to new changes in my life and I am adjusting myself to these changes.

Why am I so secretive about these changes? Why make people guess and asked what changes huh? Wait till the time is ripe... I will pour out all my complains and my stories...

Now, I would like to share with friends two near accidents case happened in December.

First incident : One fine day, the whole family was on our way to my friend's house for a gathering. Of course, Yuxin's daddy was driving and when we were almost reaching our destination suddenly Daddy made an emergency brake. Mommy was playing with Yuxin and we were a bit shock on the e-brake. What happened?! The moment I looked up... Alamak!!! There was a group of cyclist crossing the road (Of course, riding their bicycle). One of them was already in the middle of the road. Hey!!! Young men!!! Are you blind!!! Can't you see it's red light for pedestrain!!! Actually, the road has a slight uphill so drivers cannot see far. That's why only after our car pass the first road junction then we could see those cyclist crossing the road on the second junction. We were so close, so close, so close... almost hit the cyclist. Please, please... all the cyclist out there please don't 'play play' on the road.

Second incident : On the last day of 2007, our family went for Daddy's company D&D. We enjoyed ourselves with the food, talking with our friends and also the funny mc on the stage. When it was around 2300 plus, we decided to take Yuxin out for a walk. She has been sitting on the baby chair for hours and we should let her do some stretching. Then, we decided to stay outside for the count down. The reason why is because inside the ballroom was too noisy as the music was very loud and secondly the hotel will have balloons falling down from the ceiling for the counting down ceremony. So Mommy, Daddy & Yuxin were waiting at the lobby, standing below the balloons with many other people together... Waiting, waiting & waiting... Suddenly, Mommy felt something fell from the top and hit me & Yuxin. At that moment, I was carrying Yuxin. I was curious... What could have hit us? In the middle of no where? What could have fall from the ceiling? There was nothing above us but balloons. I find and looked around the floor near me. To my HORROR!!! Can you imagine what I found?! SCISSOR! I was angry... I was thinking of making a big fuss about this. In the end, being a nice person (hahaha... shameless to say myself nice) I didn't. There were a few of the hotel staff standing around for the "balloon ceremony". I signal to one of the staff to come and pick up the scissor. He was shocked too to see the scissor on the floor. Up to now, I don't think I have to explain why scissor was falling down from above... Of course, it was due to careless staff who was standing by to cut those big big net that was holding balloons.

After these two incidents, I am glad that I am still alive. Can you imagine what if the scissor cut through my head? Or even worse, Yuxin's head. I really must thank 神 or 仙 or God or fairies or angels or ancestors, whoever is protecting us. THANK YOU!!!
